When I was a kid and visited beautiful jewelry stores I wanted to try on all the pretty, sparkly rings, and they always let me. Diamonds, rubies, sapphires... the larger the gems, the better. It felt amazing! Today I realized that allowing myself to try on beautiful jewelry gave me the energy and appreciation of abundance.
Last year I saw a ring in the window of a downtown designer boutique and asked to try it on. They had to get the manager and acted very serious and official. I wasn't sure why until they presented me with the $2.6 million dollar ring. I had no idea it was that expensive, but had no hesitation in trying it on anyway! Wow, so beautiful, so much fun to play with, my body felt tingly all over!
Now, having my own jewelry boutique, I have kept the same policy. As people come into my boutique, I offer them to try on anything they desire. Some will let themselves indulge in "playing dress up". I realized that allowing myself to try on beautiful jewelry gave me the energy and appreciation of abundance. What if indulging in that way expands your abundance? Are you willing to play?!
